Let’s talk waste. Better yet…

Let’s talk about waste. Better yet, instead of just talking about it, let’s actually do something about it.

Introducing, the Art of Diversion Blog (aka Your Daily Diversion).

The goal of this blog is to provide critical analysis of all things Construction & Demolition (C&D) waste and to share stories celebrating work that we believe exemplifies the Art of Diversion including profiles of the people behind that work.

Readers will hopefully come away not only better informed about C&D waste but also inspired to do something about it.

We feel it is important to showcase solutions to problems. There is plenty to worry about in the world, not the least of which is the environmental impact of the building industry, but we see plenty to be optimistic about, too. There’s a lot of cool stuff happening out there, it just deserves more recognition, and our hope is that AOD enables readers to discover noteworthy artists, makers and service providers who are making a difference by helping to divert waste from landfill creatively.

We also encourage dialogue. Comments on posts are more than welcome, and if you see something that inspires you, please share it with others.
